Welcome to VetTeamAMR
VetTeamAMR is an initiative that champions the responsible use of antimicrobials within companion animal, farm animal, and equine veterinary teams. This major collaborative project, kindly sponsored by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, brings together a cross-industry consortium to use and create the evidence base to support continuous improvements at the point of care. The project includes the Antimicrobial Audit Tool and VetTeamAMR Education.
VetTeamAMR Education provides courses and resources to help you instil antimicrobial stewardship among your team. VetTeamAMR Education includes:
- Companion animal and equine learning platform and Antibiotic Guardians
- Farm Vet Champions learning platform, including the SMART Goals tool
Work through the modules at your own pace, and pick and choose those that are appropriate for your work setting and the animals that you see in practice. From first opinion to referral vets – these resources are for you! Use the quizzes to test your learning and complete the module.
